Its new 64-bit desktop class architecture with A8 chip is surprisingly smaller in size and efficient than the previous A7 processor, delivering up to 50x faster speed and better energy efficiency. Furthermore, the M8 motion co-processor (GPU) is up to 84x speedier than the ones found on its predecessors.
A fine 2,915mAh Li-Po battery comes under the hood which supplies up to 80 hours of music, 14 hours of HD video, 12 hours of internet browsing, 24 hours of 3G talk time and maximum 16 days (384 hours) of standby time.
Connectivity and storage
The iPhone 6 Plus is equipped with 802.11ac Wi-Fi which delivers 3 times better wireless speed. Also, it has more LTE bands (up to 20 bands) which can deliver download speeds of up to 150MBPS. Other connectivity options include Voice over LTE (VoLTE), NFC, Bluetooth etc.
The storage capacity divides the iPhone 6 Plus in three variants – 16GB, 64GB and 128GB. There is no option for further expansion, yet the iCloud feature allows you store more in the clouds.
